I guess I mostly just want to keep a record of this drama in case it happens to someone else and I need to link back to this.
I’m happy for people to link to other characters and so on to simply suggest they like the design and want something similar. But if that character is owned by someone else, be it an artist or someone who commissions art of the character.. At least have the DECENCY to ask the person first, if you can basically copy their character.
Its irritating and rude to say the least. I probably wouldn’t have minded so much if the person had just asked me. But apparently these days no one does that, there’s no such thing as honesty.
